Education expands horizons.
Born and raised in Stockton, California, Diane did well in school and envisioned herself going to college. Since money was tight, she was challenged and had to be resourceful. She used every public resource available: grants, loans, scholarships, donations and work study. Four years later, she graduated from UC Santa Cruz.

High-tech marketing pays off.
After college, Diane found her niche in marketing at one of the world's most innovative companies, Apple Computer, where she managed their worldwide user group program. "At Apple," she says, "I learned to execute complex projects on accelerated schedules, create motivated, results-orient teams and implemented creative marketing plans."

After 15 years of career success in Silicon Valley, Diane and her husband decided to pack up and move to Lake Tahoe, seeking an alternative lifestyle. "We ignited a business, Rocktonic, an upscale juice and coffee bar concept, which we later sold to a larger chain. We spent three years in Truckee before moving to Reno." But that's not all...

Vision turns into profit.
Diane took another chance and followed her dreams, which led her right into real estate. As a long-time investor, Diane has bought and sold several properties over the years, each for profit.

She explains, "I have an eye for appreciation, an intuitive instinct that guides me to the best neighborhoods for investment. When it's time to sell, I know how to make a property shine with easy cosmetic upgrades and strategic price positioning." Having it all.
"More than anything else, I love spending quality time at home with my husband, two daughters and cat," admits Diane.

A professional with a vision, her girls are creative, too. They attend a local elementary school where Diane also volunteers as Vice President of the Parent Teacher Organization. In her free time, Diane enjoys the great outdoors, whether it is backpacking, figure skating or gardening, hiking, horseback riding and snowboarding. She also enjoys home decorating. "I'm an HGTV addict, and I love movies, especially action-adventure. James Bond is my favorite."
